I-PASS is the Idaho State Department of Education’s (SDE) newly created digital portfolio system.

Teachers access I-PASS through a secure single sign on password and log in. Teachers log in and access their own digital classroom folders where they will collect digital data into their class, student and assessment files. Student work as digital media can be entered in any format including; video, photograph, scanned as well as faxed or saved documents. Teachers can use I-PASS throughout the school year to collect digital media in their individual class file, then choose specific examples of learning of extended content area objectives to submit as evidence for the ISAT-Alt. I-PASS is a national model of the integration of digital media into the instructional and assessment process!
